In the wild, perilous world of early humans, Gruk, a mad visionary, creates the first shoe to save his feet from constant pain. Using animal hide and sinew, he crafts “foot skin,” astonishing his tribe by effortlessly conquering thorny bushes and jagged rocks. Declaring himself the “Sole King,” Gruk’s invention sparks awe, envy, and chaos as tribes vie for his creations. However, his obsession with elaborate designs leads to division and ultimately his downfall when his stone shoes cause his demise. Though Gruk vanishes, his legacy—the humble shoe—endures, shaping human history.
