In the quiet town of Crumbsville, a small bakery run by Mrs. Appleton is famous for its delicious pies. People come from miles around to get a taste of her cherry, apple, and blueberry pies, each one more delectable than the last. Plot: As Oliver follows the crumbs—literally—he uncovers clues that take him through secret tunnels, hidden pie stashes, and even a mysterious pie-loving club. With each suspect telling a different story, Oliver must use his wits to figure out who the real culprit is. In the end, the solution is more surprising (and heartwarming) than anyone expected. It turns out the pies were being stolen by a group of woodland creatures trying to win a pie-making contest for a good cause. Oliver, impressed by their passion, convinces Mrs. Appleton to help them by making extra pies for the contest, turning the town's pie mystery into a celebration for everyone.
