Caregiver
A moving story, no doubt. However, these two lines at the beginning of the story ' "Another silent day, another silent night. What a useless life!" the thirty something Karthik said to himself. ' seemed to hint that Karthick wanted to get rid of Kirthana and move on since she had become a burden to him. I think you should consider and change or remove these lines because it misleads.

This story took my breath away. The emotional layers were beautifully built—from helplessness to empowerment, from anger to empathy. The twist with Karthik’s diagnosis was devastating and brilliant, transforming what seemed like a tale of domestic abuse into a deeply human and heartbreaking story about love, illness, and forgiveness. Kirthana’s strength is inspiring, and your writing captures her journey with sensitivity and power. Incredibly expressed, thank you.
