The Girl in the Family Photograph
What would you do if you found a family photograph containing a girl who died forty years ago? While helping her grandmother clean the attic, a young woman discovers an old family photograph. At first, she thinks the mysterious girl standing beneath the apple tree is simply a forgotten relative—until she realizes the girl is holding her hand. Her grandmother knows exactly who the girl is: Clara, a little girl who disappeared forty years ago. But Clara's story doesn't end with her disappearance. As strange photographs begin appearing, hidden messages emerge, and a mysterious boy named Daniel appears beneath the old apple tree, the family is forced to confront a secret that has been buried for generations. Why does Clara keep appearing in photographs? Who is the boy beside the tree? And what does she want the family to remember? Some memories refuse to disappear. Some secrets refuse to stay buried. And sometimes, the dead don't return to frighten us—they return because someone has to remember.
