This feels more like a brief, impressionistic opening than a complete story, but it has an intriguing cosmic-to-life scale. The fragmented language creates a sense of something ancient slowly coming into being, and the final “...ROARRR!!” gives the passage a sudden burst of energy. I wanted more of a character or creature to connect with, though—the piece ends just as its central presence seems to arrive.
