A Magician's Dream

Alan is an amateur magician, but he longs to have real powers. He heard about a magical island where every fantasy comes true, and while he doesn't have much money, the Host gifts him a two-day vacation spot anyway. But all is not what it seems, as he soon learns. And what about the Host? Why is he doing it? And what about the magical item?
