Christel never lived here

This story is a reflection of the character I created to escape a life of neglect, loneliness, and emotional pain. Writing it helped me confront the truth I tried to hide , that the version of me I presented to the world was a mask. In telling this story, I finally gave a voice to the girl who never had one.
