A Dream Come True
Abigael McCarthy had always been a dreamer. Living in a quiet, suburban neighborhood, she often found herself staring out of the window of her small room, imagining a life far different from her own. While her classmates planned for practical careers, Abigael was lost in fantasies of becoming a world-renowned dancer. She saw herself performing on grand stages with the world applauding her every graceful move. But reality was different. Abigael came from a modest family. Her father worked as a mechanic, and her mother was a nurse. There wasn’t much money for dance lessons, much less the costumes or travel expenses associated with a professional dance career. Still, that didn’t stop Abigael from dreaming. Every morning before school, she would sneak into the local dance studio and practice in the mirror-covered backroom while no one was around.
