Bardic ManifestoListening to the Earth to bring forth Story frequencies.Astrea Sophia Gold Is my bardic name, received in dream and meditation.I pledged my alliance to Mother Earth and Father Sky, to the Cosmos and the Multiverse in all their aspects, powers, and facets. As a Bardess attuned to the Earth and the Mysteries of Life, Death, and Rebirth, I consider my task to listen and attune deeply to the cycles and rhythms within and without, and co-create stories that can enchant and awaken at the same time: awakening through enchantment, and enchantment through awakening. My stories deal with manifold themes, perspectives, characters, archetypes.I see it as my task to liberate the energies trapped in old patterns and archetypes, and attend to their acknowledgement, release and transmutation.Myth and fable have to be liberated and interrogated as to their needs in this and future timelines, in their relations to the human and more-than-human worlds. When I write a story, an essay, or a poem, I appeal to the imagination of the reader, as a theatre of the mind-body-feeling continuum. You, the Reader, recreate the stories, and the characters' motivations, and enact their lives and vicissitudes by proxy. In so doing, you not only complete and make the story alive, and embodied, you also experience catharsis, an emotional purification of your inner lives that makes for renewal and transformation, a reconnection to Soul.Soul is pristine, and if attended to, knows what is best, no matter what we have been through. There is an active spiralling interconnection between story, natural elements and humans; therefore, through allegiance to the Earth, and authentic listening to the land, Bards and Bardesses bring about relationship and transformation in a broad, systemic way, through a shift of consciousness that includes grief and belonging in the same breath.Dear Reader, thank you for being a part of my writing journey: listen to the silences, tune into the unseen, and the overlooked places that resonate in your soul. Pause, experience, enjoy my stories, and feel free to share your thoughts.
