Guilt and Punishment

Ania meets a charming stranger named Marek during a beautiful autumn day. He seems ideal at first — attentive, intelligent, and mysterious. As their relationship deepens, Marek's true nature emerges: he becomes possessive, controlling, and emotionally abusive. When Ania tries to end things, he threatens her and kills a cat to intimidate her. Traumatized, Ania withdraws from social life. She later realizes Marek is sabotaging her new relationships — until she meets Janusz, who confronts Marek physically and legally. With the trial ahead, Ania begins to heal and hopes never to see her abuser again.
