However, Viren Kumar Pandya, a kind-hearted police officer, noticed young Budhadev's potential and helped him enroll in school. Pandya also supported the family by setting up a tea stall for them. Budhadev excelled academically, and with his determination, he continued his education by working part-time as a newspaper delivery boy. Encouraged by his college professors, Budhadev began preparing for the Indian Civil Services. Though he faced setbacks, he persisted and eventually cleared the UPSC exams, becoming an IAS officer. Years later, as a successful commissioner, Budhadev was invited to an event as a chief guest, where he recognized his former benefactor, Viren Kumar Pandya. Overcome with emotion, Budhadev publicly thanked Pandya, attributing his success to the officer’s kindness and support. The story highlights the power of small acts of kindness, perseverance, and gratitude in transforming lives.
