Unveiling Truths By: Maria Aslanova
This story is a captivating blend of college life, friendship, and unexpected emotional twists. What stands out most is the depth of character development, particularly with Slate. His sharp wit and seemingly detached demeanor hide layers of complexity that unravel as the story progresses. The chemistry between the characters, especially the banter between Sasha, Slate, and the narrator, keeps the tone lively and engaging. What I appreciate most is how the story keeps you invested in the characters' relationships while subtly hinting at deeper emotions beneath their interactions. The surprise revelation of Slate’s feelings added an emotional punch I didn’t see coming. The pacing is solid, and the vivid descriptions of scenes, like the gala, immerse you fully into the world. However, there were moments when the dialogue felt a little rushed, and I would have loved more insight into the narrator's internal thoughts, especially after the confrontation with Slate. Overall, it’s an enjoyable and emotionally charged read that takes you through the highs and lows of college friendships and unexpected confessions. It's a story that leaves you thinking long after you’ve finished it! I did enjoy it immensely. On another note, I like the spacing in the story; it made it easier to read, and I believe I will attempt to mimic this in my stories. Thank you.

I like the use of your vocubulary as I am an aspiring writer myself. But i enjoyed the story. Wonder if Slate will actually be able to express himself or will he continue to be sarcastic after the incident.

A good story. I was as surprised as Blaze was. Can't quite figure Slate out.
