Barrel Boy

Cyborg Birth tells the story of an unexpected pregnancy. Ma Tama is a Baptist woman. The Baptist is rare in the future. She feels it is her duty to teach and maintain the traditions. Trouble is she knows very little about the traditions. She still opts to teach the children about being a Baptist. When a sudden pain takes her she runs to her friend's place. There, she delivers a cyborg child. She and her friend decide that the future is no place for a little baptist boy. They seal him away in a barrel and place the barrel on the sea.
