El Aguacero

A young boy and his sister are cared for during the day by a young woman in Mexicali. They have been left in her care after their mother left them with her working grandmother and moved away. The story describes the life they live in a Mexican village and recounts the day of a flood that forces them to spend the night with their caregiver, Maria.
