Set in France during the second world war, a ghost of a British soldier named Henry tells the story that he was unable to deal with the horrors of battle and how with his shame hid as his brothers-in-arms are killed by Hitler's war machine. He retreats into what he believes to be an abandoned, ruined house where the soldier meets up with a young Jewish girl with someone to protect will he find his courage before his end
