*Chapter 1: The Rainy Encounter

Taro Yamada stepped off the train and into the bustling city, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. He had just moved from a small town, leaving behind memories of bullying and loneliness. The city, with its towering skyscrapers and crowded streets, seemed like a fresh start. After checking into his dorm, Taro spent the afternoon unpacking boxes and settling into his new room. As he placed a photo of his old friends on the desk, he couldn't help but smile. The photo showed a group of friends laughing and embracing, and for a moment, Taro felt a pang of nostalgia. But he was determined to make new friends and start anew. With a sense of adventure, he set out to explore the city, taking a stroll through the streets.

The weather was gray, and the air was crisp, carrying the promise of rain. As if on cue, dark clouds gathered, and the sky unleashed a torrent of raindrops.

Seeking refuge, Taro dashed into a nearby caf. Shaking off the rain, he ordered a coffee and waited for his drink to arrive. As he reached for the cup, a sudden jolt sent the coffee flying. A boy, rushing into the caf, had collided with Taro and hurriedly apologized before rushing out into the rain.

Taro got himself up, dusting off his clothes. He ordered another coffee and sat down, lost in thought. The boy's face lingered in his mind, and he couldn't help but wonder who he was.

As he sipped his coffee, Taro's thoughts drifted back to his past. He remembered the cruel words and pranks, the feeling of being an outcast. But the city felt different, and he was determined to start anew.

As the rain subsided, Taro headed back to his dorm. As he opened the door to his room, he noticed a familiar figure standing outside the room next door. It was the same boy from the caf.

The boy turned, and their eyes met. "You..." he said, a hint of surprise in his voice. "You're the one from the caf, right?"

Taro nodded, a smile spreading across his face. "I'm Taro. And you are...?"

The boy's expression softened, and he replied, "I'm Kaito. Nice to meet you, Taro."
