A few years ago I met a Christian gentleman in Nazimabad 2 Karachi Pakistan. It was professional meeting as I had a job for him that he accepted and performed to my satisfaction. I took him to my house where his assistance was required. Having understood the requirements he immediately started the proceeding that hardly lasted for half an hour. During the course of the work he was talking like a professor. To my surprise he revealed that he used to perform religious services in church as pastor. However, after revocation of order by the church administration he rejoined the family profession as he had no other option. My first meeting with him was so impressive and moving that I had made it a regular practice to see him on regular basis to have update on his health. He had a stroke that impacted on his health greatly. Yet, after recovering to some extent he continued with his profession as it was the solitary respectable source of income available to him to meet the expenses. He can't do anything else. He is so humble and innocent that one can't resist exchanging a few pleasantries with him. Once, I asked him why don't he quit his profession to resume his duties as pastor. I gave him some tips as well. He said that he did submit a request to church administration but they have some rules and regulation as well as disciplines to follow. At 48 he was still single when I last saw him. For some time I haven't seen him. He and his family members live within the small community in Liaquatabad Pakistan. I hope he is well.
