Later that day, Ivan goes for a stroll in town and notices the amount of civillians roaming in their animal form. He notices a girl smoking a cigarette and chatting with her friends. She's gorgeous but most men are scared to approach her because she isn't one to shy away from a fight...and she always wins.
Ivan approaches her shyly. "Sasha?" He calls out, pretending he had bumped into her. She turns and looks at him up and down.
"Oh you're that human kid" she comments in a disgrunted voice. Ivan tries to respond but his mouth dries up. How does he respond to that? He opens his mouth but Sasha interrupts me.
"I'm leaving now" she simply says as she turns into crow and disappears around the corner with her crow friends following her.
Ivan watches them leave with dismay and starts to follow but he gets disrupted by a hand snaking around his head and clutching his mouth. He screams as loud as possible but his voice goes unheard by anyone else in the town.
He gets dragged into an alleyway where he finds three distorted looking men with black eyes, scars and scales growing from their own human skin. The guy pulls out a knife.
"We need your animal" the guy's raspy voice rings out. "stay still and I'll make your as quick as possible"
