Stella’s alarm goes off and she groans in exhaustion when her grandma shows up, turning it off for her.
“come on Stella, I know you’re tired but that alarm is so loud it’s waking up the whole house” her grandma, Shasnet, complains as she turns the alarm off for her and heads towards the door,
“You’re the only other person in this house” Stella replies grumpily.
Shasnet stops and turns around with immense self-assurance as she makes shameless eye contact with her granddaughter. “Oh, I know” She simply says then leaves.
Stella takes her time getting ready, pulling her rainbow hair in a ponytail running downstairs to find Shasnet cooking breakfast.
Outside the farmhouse they own, there’s a unicorn in the field eating grass, Stella goes outside and feeds the gorgeous unicorn with a silver shiny mane, an apple.
“Would you by any chance want to go to school for me?” Stella asks the unicorn while petting her mane but the unicorn huffs and trots away. After that, she heads back to the house and grabs her bag and a shiny pink crystal that glows brightly, Stella closes her eyes. “Swamlin Goll, School for all types of creatures” She whispers and her body starts turning into specks of light until her whole body disappears.
The specks of light grow bigger in front of a huge school made of bright coloured crystals and glass. Stella’s body slowly starts to reappear, she wiggles her fingers back to consciousness, suddenly two people hug her from the sides.
“There you are!” Both people squeal.
“Polly! Olivia!” Stella squeals, her two childhood best friends, Polly who is an animalia which means half animal half human, she is part rabbit. Then there’s Bruno, a shapeshifter, curly blonde and green hair. The three of us head to class, as we enter, Stella’s eyes land on another girl with long curly blue hair.
“Trixie” Bruno growls in annoyance as the girl notices the three friends and smirks. She struts her way to Stella with her two blonde vampire friends, Drasika and Evelyn, in stow.
“There she is, the infamous Stella Reaper” Trixie declares with a smug smirk “the teacher calls you out so many times that at this point everyone knows you as the dumbest girl in school”
Stella’s jaw clenches and her hands clench into fists which Trixie notices.
“Oh? Are you going to hit me?” She taunts “Go ahead, besides, Miss Racheal loves to put you in detention”
“Is there a problem here?” A voice rings out from behind Stella, it’s their teacher, a tall brunette with white rabbit ears and white rabbit tail. Trixie’s face changes completely as she puts on a polite smile and bats her eyelashes. “No problem here, miss, I’m just trying to educate my friend here” Trixie comments.
“Ok well get to your seats” Miss Racheal orders strictly, Stella sits next to Bruno and Polly, as she sets up her desk, another gorgeous girl with light blue pigtails strides in with an air of confidence, Stella’s eyes are glued on the gorgeous girl.
“This is our new classmate, Solstice Rogue” Miss Racheal explains to the students as the girl gives a little wave. Once the introductions are done, Solstice strides to a seat in front of Stella’s, who’s still staring with wide eyes and mouth ajar.
“I’m glad you made it” Bruno says excitedly and hugs Solstice then turns to his two friends “this is the cousin I was telling you about” he explains, Solstice reaches out for a handshake but Stella doesn’t respond or react, just keeps staring until Trixie purposefully bumps into her.
“Oh! Sorry about that…Who’s this?” Trixie asks smugly as she sizes Solstice down while her hands land on Stella’s shoulders. “word of advice, I’d steer clear from Reaper and her friends” Trixie leans closer, breath against Stella’s ear. “she’s not the brightest of the class” then she chuckles smugly and struts away.
