Forcefully had to mature as a little girl.
I grew up in a village where there was no lot of entertainment like big cities. I grew up living at my grandmother's house together with my elder sister. Me and my elder sister lived with grandfather my sick grandmother.
I was still at primary school by then and I used to walk bare footed from home to school, it was about quite a distance. My age was around 10 years by then. I would go to school with my sister then when we come back we would perform house chores and taking care of our sick grandmother.
Our sick grand mother could not walk, she would only had to lay there by the bed while she feels the pains. We didn't know what would help her we just kept helping her by providing her with food, padding her and bathing her. We would just leave her alone when we go to school until we come back.
Our grandfather only focused on providing food. One time I remember when we got back from school my sister just called me from the other room telling me that our grandmother just left us. We hearts felt the pain because we had a strong bond with her and at the same time we felt at least she will have a rest.
Our grand mother got buried and now we're only left with grandfather. This time our mother is still alive but in a different country. Our mom could not even make it to her mom's funeral. After my grandmother's funeral life continued. At school I passed with flying colours and my grandfather was so proud.
My sister had to trop out of school to look for a job because she felt she had to maintain me. What a sister I had in a world?? . My sister had to buy me school clothes and Christmas clothes. My lovely sister got married and she stayed by her inlaws.
Life began to feel lonely because now I'm gonna be left with my grandfather alone. I continued studying regardless of the changes . My sister was blessed with a daughter, I had such happy moments because she had to come and live with us. It was so nice to live with my sister and her small child.
My sister after some time had to go back to her inlaws, the boredom would strike again. In 2005 I remember I was told that my my mother would come to fetch me to take me to another country where she lives and I was so excited . This time I was doing grade 7.
