In this unforgiving world, the only thing we truly have is ourselves. Occasionally, special people enter our lives who can completely change the course of our existence - sometimes for the better, and at other times, not. We often don't realize their impact until time has passed. If we are fortunate, these individuals bring nothing but love and happiness; however, there are situations where they can lead us into hardship.
When I refer to hardship, I mean it. Some people embody evil, preying upon the weak, vulnerable, and insecure. They target the lonely - those who yearn for love. These individuals can spot their prey from a distance, and you might never see them coming, but rest assured that they are there.
They may initially appear sweet, kind, humble, and lovable, but once they have you under their control, their true nature reveals itself. They can become slimy, cruel, and rude, allowing their hatred to surface and shouting to ensue. It is during these moments that their true colors shine through.
You have to be strong; you have to stay positive. You must keep fighting because that evil can take over. Never let them win. I understand how hard it is to combat hatred; I know how tough it is to keep pushing forward, but giving up is never an option. Good always prevails.
