Attraction
A feeling beyond words
Her name was Riva - and I met her for the first time at a railway station. Standing still in a crowd, she looked so calm, as if even time paused to admire her. Her hair was damp from the rain, and her eyes... her eyes held the silence of a thousand untold stories.
I was just on a journey to find myself. But after meeting Riva, it felt like I had found the divine.
We were in the same compartment, seated by the window. Our conversation began like two souls who weren't strangers, but companions from a forgotten past. She loved books, and I adored stories that were never written.
"Do you need anything?" I asked.
She smiled and replied, "Yes, a few moments? that feel real."
That single sentence etched itself into my heart. For a few hours, she was my fellow traveler, but those hours changed the entire course of my life.
When the train reached her station, she stood up. I asked, "Riva, will we ever meet again?"
She lowered her eyes and whispered, "If the pull is real, we'll meet again."
And she walked away - no number, no other identity, just a feeling... a presence.
I never saw her again, but every story I write, every word I pen, carries the same silent attraction she left behind.
Attraction - that's what she was, is... and maybe always will be.
Some connections don't complete - yet in their incompleteness, they become eternal.
