Surendar was walking alone under the soft drizzle. He had just finished college and was searching for a job. Life felt empty - like a book with no new pages.

Suddenly, a motorbike zoomed past. Laughter echoed behind it. He turned his head, and his heart skipped a beat.

It was Anitha.

The girl he once loved. The one who disappeared from his life six years ago. Now, there she was, sitting on the bike, her scarf fluttering in the wind.

"You? how are you here?" Surendar asked, stunned.

Anitha smiled gently.

"How could I stay away? You still visit my dreams."

Before he could respond, three men on motorbikes circled them. Their eyes cold. Their presence dangerous.

"Give her to us," one of them barked.

Surendar stood in front of Anitha.

"You'll have to go through me first."The rain poured harder.

One of the thugs lunged. Surendar ducked, grabbed a wooden stick nearby, and fought with all his strength. His shirt was soaked. His hands bled. But he didn't back down. Anitha watched, breathless, her heart pounding - not in fear, but in awe.

Finally, the attackers ran off into the night.

Anitha stepped forward and took Surendar's hand.

"You've always been my hero? now and forever."

Surendar looked at her, rain still falling between them.

"After you left, my world turned silent. But now? now it feels alive again."

Both sit together on a bus bench, sipping hot tea, fingers intertwined. The rain slows to a drizzle. Above them, the stars begin to peek out.

A new journey had just begun.
