Setting up your Author Website
on Short Story Lovers?

A comprehensive guide to help you setup your author site easily and hassle free.

1. Log in: Sign in to your Short Story Lovers account. You might land on the Reading or Writing Dashboard, depending on your previous activity.

2. Dashboard: Once logged in, navigate to your Author dashboard. Alternatively, use the direct link to access the Edit Site feature.

3. Edit Site Page: On your Author Dashboard, locate and click on the "Edit Site" tab.

4. Make Changes: Within the “EDIT SITE” page, you'll be able to modify various elements such as:

Pro Authors features & benefits:

  • Author/Publication Name: Your name or the name of your publication/brand if applicable.
  • Headline: A catchy phrase or sentence summarizing your writing style or the essence of your stories.
  • Short Description: A brief, engaging description introducing yourself, your writing, or the themes prevalent in your stories.
  • Your Site URL: Customize a unique and memorable URL that reflects your identity or your stories.
  • Add Cover Image: A visually appealing image representing your brand or the essence of your stories.
  • Add Logo: Incorporate a logo if you have a personal brand or a distinct visual symbol representing your identity.
  • About Page: Write a captivating narrative about yourself, your journey as a writer, your inspirations, or any other relevant information you'd like to share.
  • Site Colors/Theme: Choose colors and themes that resonate with your writing style or create a visually appealing atmosphere for your readers.
  • Site Fonts: Select fonts that complement your content and enhance readability, ensuring consistency across your site.

Left Panel is where you can make all the edits, and Right panel is to give you Preview of your changes.

5. Save Changes: Once satisfied with the modifications, ensure to save your changes. Upon saving, you'll be redirected to view your Site Live.

6. View Website: Share your site with friends and audiences once the changes are finalized.
