I was a teacher who preached martyrdom during the Iran-Iraq war as a part of my job without realizing its effect on my students. At the end of the educational year, when I saw how unmotivated the students are for their exam, I realized how harmful the governmental propaganda is. I tried to undo what I had done, but I was compelled to do so in a most unusual way!
Now I know that the life in this world was never meant to be “perfect” as perfection is stored for us in the Hereafter. As Allah says in the Quran: “And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].” [Quran 93:4]
This eBook by Sheikh Javed Ashraf explains the significance of the Black Stone and the Sacred Ka'ba in Islam. It clears up common misconceptions, emphasizing that Muslims do not worship these symbols. The Black Stone is kissed during the pilgrimage as a sign of respect, following the example of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The Ka'ba, the direction for prayer (qibla), is revered but not worshipped. This eBook provides a deeper understanding of these sacred elements and their role in Islamic practices.
