Samrat woke up in the library with the thought of the last story revolving in his mind. He felt a pain in his shoulder, and when he saw it, it looked like a scratch mark that had been caused by an accident. Samrat automatically understood the reason and rushed towards his home. After reaching his home, he found an email from his company attached with an expulsion letter. He was disturbed and made a phone call to Charu, but she didn't receive it, and after an hour, she called him back. Samrat was very much upset and started arguing with her, saying Charu did not understand him, and cut the call. Charu reached his flat and started confronting him with the reasons for his downfall and his unstable behavior leading to the loss of his job. Samrat shouted at her, and she left him alone. His mind was in continuous thought of the story, and he decided to go to Delhi.

Samrat the next morning boarded the train and went to Delhi. He, without any delay, went to Tarun's building and enquired with the guard about Tarun, but the guard had no idea about this name. Samrat there met with the secretary of the society and asked the question. From there, he came to know that Tarun's family had left the building 2 years ago when his child met with a car accident and went to their village. In disappointment, he left the building. But in the meantime, his mind struck that he knew the direction of Yashi's building, and there he could go and get some information. He went and talked to the gatekeeper about Yashi's address, where he saw Jaichand was driving outside the building in his car. After getting the address, he went to her house and asked about all the boys, representing himself as a childhood friend of Tarun. She had no inside information about the accidents that happened with the boys; she only knew that they had tragically met with an accident. Samrat consoled her and went outside the building.

However, he was in deep thought about how he could get some clue as this case was different from the previous one, where he easily connected with the culprit, but in this situation, he couldn't find any clue or string. He rented a cheap place in the same locality from where he could work on this case. Samrat tried to make acquaintance with Yashi so that he could observe Jaichand through her. One day, he found out that Jaichand on every Friday visited a local old bar in the locality to have a drink.
