It began to become dark, and Riya's parents got worried. They called her, but her phone was switched off, and none of Riya's friends had any idea where she had gone regarding her assignment. Riya's parents went to the police station to file a missing complaint. After that, the police went on searching but were unable to get any clue. In the morning, the police put Riya's number under surveillance and found that her last location was on the outskirts near Sujoy's farmhouse.

Police rushed to Sujoy's house and rang the bell. He opened the door and tactfully welcomed them. The inspector asked him about Riya and told him that her last location was seen here. In reply, he affirmed that Riya came here yesterday to sell some beauty products, but as he was alone in the house, he denied that he couldn't purchase any of this as he had no idea about the products. Thereafter, she left. Sujoy then innocently asked what had happened. The inspector replied that she was missing, and they had suspicion on him.

Sujoy craftily replied that he had a camera both outside the main door and inside his sitting room, and if they wanted, he could show them. The inspector went to see the footage, and the sight was completely opposite to reality. In the video, Riya entered the house and both of them talked, and she went outside the house. The inspector nodded and said sorry to Sujoy for the disturbance and went outside towards his car. Suddenly, a thought struck the inspector's mind, and he rushed back to Sujoy's house and interrogated him by saying, "Everything you told is not true". Sujoy became confused and asked him what. The inspector replied, "You did not tell us about the tea you both had in your sitting room". Sujoy's expression immediately changed, and he said that he thought that it was not very crucial. The inspector again questioned him, stating that only two of them were present at the house at that time, but the footage showed he had made 3 cups of tea. His expression changed again, and he abruptly answered that he did not make tea on a regular basis and didn't have any idea about the portion of ingredients, so it led to making three cups instead of two. Police demanded that they wanted to search his house, to which he agreed. After searching every room, the police couldn't find anything and left frustrated.

Sujoy subsequently went to his bedroom and opened his wardrobe, and there was a secret door opening in it which directly went to the dark room where Riya was present. He threw water on her, and she came back to normal. He then hit her by taunting that police had just come in search of her and smiled, saying they couldn't find her. Riya started crying and insulting him by saying he was a psycho and brutal, and that he had killed his wife also. Sujoy laughed at her, saying that she was not his wife; she was just a subject like her, and he used the woman's photo as a bait to gain trust. Sujoy also told her that the voice she heard yesterday was just an artificial sound made by him, exactly like he fabricated their meeting video from yesterday and showed it to the police, making it seem like she had left the house. Riya felt shattered. He then told her that they would proceed with her last session in the evening, and after that, she would be free from this world, and her internal body organs would be sold at high cost. By saying this, he left the room, and she felt helpless.

In the evening, he again came up with an electrocution chair and said it would be her last suffering, and untied her and took her to the chair. Suddenly, Riya, with all her strength, pushed him away and ran towards the area from where Sujoy used to come and thrashed the door. Luckily, the door to the wardrobe was not locked, which opened the route to his home. Riya ran out of the house, but it was pitch dark, which made it impossible for her to find the way outside the area. She ran into the woods, and within sometime, she got exhausted and sat on the ground and saw Sujoy was not behind her. She was relaxing and composing her mind, but in the meantime, someone from the dark hit her back with a machete. When she turned around in pain, she found out that it was the same two men she had seen at the tea point discussing Sujoy. Riya tried to run away, but he again hit her on the head, which took away her life. In the end, Sujoy, on the phone, ordered them to bury the girl in the jungle.
