I walked into the house the next morning to find Clayton sitting on the side of the bed crying. It's crazy because I refused to acknowledge it, just didn't feel the need to. As I walked towards the bathroom, he called my name asking if I could please stay and talk to him. For whatever reason I did it, I listened to what he had to say. He expressed how it hurts him to know I am going out to be with another man and that he feels as though I am taking advantage of his disability. We went back and forth for about 15 minutes until finally I came to my senses and asked him if he needed to be reminded of the agreement we made.
