In a cold afternoon of January in Kanpur, a marketing student named Riya was given a task from her management school regarding the sales of beauty products, and it was a very important task because it would affect her internal marks. She was trying her best but was unable to sell any item because the name of the brand was not popular. After one hour of non-stop struggle, she took a break at a tea stall. While sipping tea, she heard two men talking about a farmhouse on the outskirts of the city. They were discussing the owner, who had come with his wife for winter holidays, and how he was a very gentle and helpful person who paid them well for a small job of cleaning a pool.
When Riya heard their talk, a thought struck her mind to visit the man's property and try to sell her products to his wife. She immediately booked a cab for the destination, but the cab left her 1.5 km before, as the road to the bungalow was tough for a sedan to reach there. She started walking up the road, but just before reaching, the weather became worse and it started raining hard. She somehow reached the door and rang the bell; her whole jacket was soaked in water. A man aged 50 opened the door. Riya swiftly introduced herself and the product in a very faint voice as she was feeling cold. The man insisted that she please come inside the door as it was raining and she might catch a cold, to which Riya denied and requested him to call his wife. The man right away summoned his wife, and a voice came from upstairs saying "Coming in 15 minutes". The man again requested Riya to come inside as the chilly breeze was coming and his wife would join in minutes as she was feeding the baby. Riya stepped into the house.
The man introduced himself as Sujoy and handed her a hair dryer to blow dry her jacket. She was shivering with cold, so he politely requested her to have some tea, which would help her feel good. As the showers outside were still on, Riya accepted. When Riya was drying her clothes, she saw a picture of Mr. Sujoy and his wife and started practicing how she would present her product to the woman. Meanwhile, Sujoy came with three cups of tea and said that his wife would join them in a couple of minutes as she was trying to make the baby sleep. Both of them were having tea, and Sujoy asked her the reason for the visit. To which she replied that she was a student of marketing and was given a task for door-to-door sale of beauty products, but none of her products had sold, so she came here with hope as this would affect her internal marks. By listening to all this, Sujoy replied that he would appeal to his wife to certainly buy some of her products to help her get some marks. Riya was very much delighted by his gesture and requested him to call his wife. Sujoy then stood up from the sofa and went to call his wife. Riya was excited, but suddenly she felt her head becoming heavy, and she started feeling dizzy, and within seconds she fainted.
