Chapter 11: The Truth and the Coma

Samrat was admitted to the hospital. After a couple of hours, he regained consciousness. He saw Charu and one inspector standing beside him. The inspector asked him about his condition and how he had predicted everything about Sujoy. He replied that there was a friend of his named Riya who lost her life because of this maniac Sujoy, and all he dreamt was to take revenge on him, but it could only be possible if he risked his life. So he had taken a chance, and when he entered his house, he immediately shared his location and a message to Charu that if he didn't pick up the call after 2 hours, she should instantly come to the location with the police and open Sujoy's cupboard's internal hidden door. He subtly signaled Charu with a gesture not to say anything to the police about the book.

The inspector remembered the case of Riya which happened 5 years back and said that they couldn't find any clue from Sujoy's house at that time. The police then congratulated Samrat and Charu for the case and left the room. At the same time, Samrat asked Charu to open his Gmail account and send the message which was saved in drafts to Ravi and Sumit. Upon opening the message, she found out that it was a warning message describing how Raj died. Both Sumit and Ravi should go to Raj's parents and describe all the happenings of the trip and request for forgiveness. If not done in 2 days, Samrat himself would go to the police station and tell all the truth, which would again open the investigation and cause them more trouble.

While Charu was engaged with the message, she suddenly saw that Samrat's ECG interpretation was getting worse, and he started having seizures. She ran and called the doctors, and after checking, they found that Samrat was going into a coma, and his situation was getting worse.

REVELATION

A situation from a different hospital is shown. In a room, two doctors and a man named Rajiv were discussing that it had been 8 years now, but the patient had not shown any sign of movement. They advised him to take him home and hope for the best. Rajiv disappointedly agreed and went to the reception counter for the fulfillment of discharge procedures. In the meanwhile, two nurses on a wheelchair came out with a patient who was none other than Samrat. Rajiv was his father. He took him home, where his mother cried after seeing him. She said, "What a hell of a day that was when we gifted our boy that bike which has ruined his life". Rajiv, in despair, cried that he should have gifted him something else on his 18th birthday. It was clear from their speech that Samrat had been in a coma for the last 8 years, and all the set of circumstances that happened earlier was just his imagination in the state of sleep.
