"Nothing seems real when you believe nothing is real, but as the saying goes, when you meet the right one, or should I say the right ones," the story continues, "Maybe I don't know what love is."
As I tried to get along with my aunt and figure out where I should start, my life took a turn that shocked me to the core. Some could say I was sent here for a reason. It wasn't even two weeks, and my aunt had to leave for 31 days (about 1 month) because she had some business to take care of. She left me alone.
One day, I was walking around when I saw this person. We just looked at each other for some time. Without realizing it, we were talking. It's funny how you meet someone who can bring happiness and love into your life, and from there, everything changes. I started to feel like I belonged. The way he looked at me, I knew that if this wasn't it, it was the start of something great.
We understood each other one day, he called for us to meet, and the things he told me, as if he knew me, made me feel like I was dreaming again. He advised me on what I was hiding from the world. He told me to let it rust the cage I hid in my soul. I tried to ask him how he knew about that, but we were having a moment, and I couldn't ruin it.
As time passed, he turned out to be not only caring but scared like I was. He was a fighter who tried hard to make sure I didn't notice. But when the feeling was mutual, everything was clear. I remember when he told me he was hurt by someone he trusted. Just to think, how could a normal person do that? Love is beautiful. As I learned about love and how to survive it, I was there for him.
When I look back at all that's happened and what's to come, I can't stand it. Not everything has a happy ending. We hide our problems so deep in our hearts that we don't let anyone know. Cheating, lying, scheming, and living it up every day are tough. Sometimes weeks went by without talking to the guy. But deep down, I knew he was fine. And when we meet, it feels like we were together every day.
This friendship gave me hope and dedication about the things I would do and achieve. A fighter is what I am. The weakness I have over this guy is just over-explained.
As life seemed to be heading the right way, the friendship took another leap. He started to distance himself from me - no meetings, no communication. Everything got cold.
Weeks turned to months, and there were days I felt like giving up. What I gave in to led my life not astray. When I think about the beginning and the great, I feel lost. I am thinking about where to go now. That's when I started to tell my story and share it with the world. It didn't turn out how I expected, but it led me to get something off my chest. People started to notice me, and it brought me nothing but good.
I met this girl who wanted to tell me her story, but off the books. As I looked at her, I realized that she'd become a part of my journey too - someone who understood the value of supportive relationships and the power of unlocking one's hopes.
As she unlocked my hopes, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. I thought back to the countless conversations I'd had with the ambassador, the guy who'd become a confidant in my journey of self-discovery. He'd listen without judgment, offering words of encouragement when I needed them most.
I turned to her and began to share stories about the young man - how he'd challenged me to confront my fears, how he'd celebrated my small victories, and how he'd helped me realize what I truly wanted in life.
Her eyes lit up with interest as I spoke, and I could see the connection forming between us.
"He sounds like a special person," she asked, her voice filled with warmth.
And in that moment, something clicked - not just a connection between us, but a reflection. She began to open up about her struggles, how she'd once stood in front of a mirror and couldn't recognize herself, how she wore strength like armor but craved to be seen without it. We weren't just trading stories; we were healing parts of each other unknowingly. Our separate wounds had found a common space to breathe.
It all made sense how the Beginning led to Great things.
