The rain fell like a gray curtain, covering the entire station. Armin stood there, clutching a drenched suitcase to his chest, his eyes searching only for one figure - a girl with a red scarf, who, with every glance, seemed to turn the pages of his entire life.
Sara walked slowly toward him. A faint smile touched her lips, but behind it hid a sea of tears.
- "Armin… it wasn't supposed to end like this."
The sound of the rain drowned the rhythm of his heartbeat, but his trembling voice broke through the knot in his throat:
- "Then why are you leaving? Didn't we build everything together?"
Sara lowered her gaze, afraid that if she looked directly into his eyes, she would lose the strength to walk away.
- "Sometimes life takes from you the very thing you thought was yours forever… I have to go, Armin. My fate lies elsewhere."
The train approached with a piercing whistle, fog curling across the tracks. Armin stepped forward, grasped her hands, and shook with desperation:
- "No… you're my destiny. Without you, I want nothing. Why won't you fight for us? Why surrender now?"
Tears streamed down Sara's face, blending with the rain. She slowly pulled her hands free from his trembling grip.
- "I've always loved you… but sometimes love isn't enough."
The train screeched to a halt. Its doors slid open. Sara gave Armin one last look - a gaze filled with thousands of unspoken words. And then, with faltering steps, she walked away.
Armin stood frozen in place. The rain poured endlessly. The train pulled out of the station, carrying half of his soul with it.
When silence finally fell again, only the sound of Armin's heavy breathing remained. Deep inside, he knew: this love would never truly end… even if they never met again.
