Okay two weeks away from the court date Shawn allowed the kids to go with there mom to a cousin funeral upstate New York.
As soon as the girls came back it was a certified letter that Leo sent to the judge saying me and Shawn was unable to care for her girls saying they came with her and did not pack they need things like hair supplies and pads mind you I did hair and I would go to Sam’s Club and buy pads soap tissue and deodorant and everything they needed plus more.
One time Leo mom sent the kids 200 a price for school . Kaya said that’s not even enough to get shoes that is how materialistic this girl was but we really did not have it for all the kids school stuff so Shawn brought my daughter something for school. The mom included this in the letter. The day of court come and I came with Shawn my oldest Kaya cee cee and Noah Lavon came and sat with me .Leo called me to the stand and she asked me did I live in subsidized housing I said iam not going to answer that she said you have to your under oath. I stated I answered you I just did not say what you wanted to hear come to find out Kaya have been taking pictures of all my mail sending it to her mom during the time .I had my step kids they had Covid adlease three times in my house I scraped money to buy medicine and plastic I made home made soup and gave themfresh oranges snacks check temperatures and all that . There mom never not once helped after the kids told how she beat them and could not afford to care for them her self . The judge granted us custody that day we took a picture I thought we was all happy two weeks later Shawn came in to some money and he gave each child 200 a peice all the kids was happy accept for Kaya she told the kids it was no need to been happy that the money would be gone as soon as they spend it.
