Chapter 3: The Entry of the Gujarati Boy
The Gujarati boy, Ramu, entered the stage to the song "Dholida Dole Baje Baje Re." He introduced himself as Jignesh Bhai Patel. Chinki greeted him, and Ramu replied, "Fafda sage tel lage se toh Rinki sage Patel lage che" (If fafda is paired with oil, then Rinki is paired with Patel).
Rinki asked, "What's this? You've paired me with Patel?" Ramu explained that his business exports fafda internationally from Surat. Rinki asked, "Is that all you do? Eat and export fafda?" Ramu replied that it's his main business, but he's also a part-time CA student.
Rinki teased, "CA? You even got the initials wrong!" Chinki intervened, "Su wat cha, Jignesh Bhai, what's going on?" Ramu was taken aback and asked, "Kya kya... Ye hai pen mai to tame pasand karu chu" (What's going on? You're already engaged?).
Rinki was shocked and exclaimed, "Ye kya ho gaya!" Chinki and Ramu left the stage together, singing "Dholida Dole Baje Baje Re."
Next, a magician named Jadugar Sonu Samrath entered the stage to the song "Jadugar." He introduced himself and claimed to have magical powers. Rinki was unimpressed and asked what else he could do besides magic.
Jadugar showed off his coin magic and tried to flirt with Rinki. She replied, "Sikko se jindagi nahi chalti. Pyaar ke kabuttar udaao to main manu" (Life doesn't run on coins. If you can make love pigeons fly, then I'll believe you).
Jadugar boasted that he could make pigeons fly and even showed off his paper magic. Rinki was impressed but still asked what else he could do besides magic. Jadugar replied that magic is his main job.
Rinki said, "Jadu ke alava aur kuch aata to shaayad shaadi kar leti" (If you had something besides magic, maybe I'd consider marrying you). Jadugar failed to impress Rinki and left the stage to the song "Bajigaar Hu Bajigaar."
Rinki was left alone, thinking about how her friends had found their partners, but she still hadn't found the perfect boy. Her last friend, Minki, arrived with a boy from Lucknow, but Rinki wasn't interested.
Rinki longed for a life partner who would care for her always, but such boys seemed scarce in the country. Rinki continued to wait for her ideal life partner.
