One warm summer night, Luma twinkled high above the forest when she noticed a tiny flicker of light below the trees. It was a firefly, and he looked very tired. His wings drooped, and his glow was faint.
"Oh dear," Luma called softly. "What's the matter, little firefly?"
The firefly sighed. "I can't find my way back to the meadow. I'm so sleepy, and the night feels too dark."
Luma thought for a moment. Then she sparkled brightly and said, "Don't worry. Follow my light, and I'll guide you home."
The firefly lifted his wings and followed the tiny star in the sky. Step by step, flap by flap, they traveled past tall trees and quiet streams. Finally, the firefly saw a meadow glowing with hundreds of little lights. His family was waiting for him!
"Thank you, little star," the firefly said with a happy buzz. "You're the brightest star I know."
Luma glowed with pride. She learned that night that even the smallest light could guide another safely home.
