Nishupur is a strange village. It is not on the map, nor is its existence recorded in the pages of history. But those who have gone once have never returned - or even if they have returned, they are no longer human.

A mysterious river flows through the middle of Nishupur - named 'Sleepless'. The water of this river never stagnates. It flows day and night continuously, but surprisingly, the river is only visible at night. It has no existence during the day.

One night, Dr. Ayan Chowdhury, a professor of physics at Dhaka University, came to Nishupur. He had heard that the water of this river eats dreams. Whoever drinks the water of this river forgets to dream - forever. But instead, he sees the future, very clearly.

Ayan wanted to verify the truth. He took a glass of the water of the Sleepless River and sipped it. Immediately, the surroundings became blurry. That's when he saw himself, twenty years later, sitting in a transparent stone room at the bottom of the sea, with countless people in front of him, all sleeping with their eyes closed.

In that room was a small tablet-like device - with which dreams could be created.

The sleepless river in Nishupur is actually a living entity, which increases its power by eating people's dreams. And those who steal that power and want to see the future, dreamless, and turn them into slaves of the sleepless river.

Dr. Ayan is now the 'dream guard' of the river in Nishupur - whose job is to bring all the dreams of the world into the river and deposit them. But the man inside him lives with a little hope - if someone ever discovers the formula for returning dreams, Nishupur will one day regain true sleep.

However, no one knows which way to enter Nishupur... because, it is born from each person's own dreams.
