It was a cloudy night out, full blue moon looming over my ethereal features as I fed off of my girlfriend's childhood friend. I couldn't let him get in between us. I finally had Ves back after a century of waiting, but when I saw my beloved standing there wide red eyes filled with fear, a fear of me, I froze. "Vespira, baby, beloved, listen- I needed to feed and-" I started to say as my lover stepped away from me.

"Why?" she says "you know I care for him, he's my friend. Am I next? Was this just a ploy to feed off of me?" She burst out as I looked at her like a kicked puppy. "Baby? No.. I'll never feed off you, I love you. He was just spewing shit about taking you from me." I say "So you kidnap him?" Vespira asks sarcastically. I then let out a snort before bringing her into my arms "I promise after this feed I'll let him go, however I do need to feed once in a while" I say. Ves only nods and nestles herself into my arms "Just tell me who, when and where that way I can run my own background checks to make sure you're safe and to ease my paranoia" she said and I nodded in response.

"If those are your only terms I have no objections" I say with a smile as I lean down to kiss her forehead. "Now that I'm done with feeding, I'll warn him, let him go and we can go on our date." I said with a smile before I glared a hole into Eddie, making him squirm and look away. I only grin maliciously before untying Eddie and looming over him. "You may go, but don't ever think of taking Ves from me again" I say as I moved back before he nodded before darted off away from us.

"Now onto our date" I say with a bright smile, holding onto my lover gently as my beloved hummed with excitement making me let out a small laugh. "Come, follow me." I say as I grabbed ahold of my lover's hand, gently tugging her along with me to a beautiful clearing in the woods. In the clearing I had set up fairy lights, a black blanket, and elderberry wine with tow glasses for us. Various pastries and tea sandwiches were laid out as well, just like our first date in this lifetime.

Seeing the clearly made Vespira melt as her face turned red, making her hide it behind her pale hands out of embarrassment, and making me smile as I uncovered my lover's face. I then leaned down to give her a gentle kiss on the lips "Elania?" she mumbles out shyly "yes, my beloved?" I reply "nothing, it's just, it's beautiful." Ves says, making me smile. "Good" I say "Because I want this to be the best date you've ever had" I added as I placed a kiss on Vessie's cheek making her smile brightly, and Gods did I miss that smile, the smile that had been robbed of me so many years ago. But now I have it back and I'll do anything to keep it.
