"Bess, you owe me 100 gold coins" I say as I held my lover's hand "Yea, yea" the barkeep says, rolling her eyes as she tossed me a bag of coins. "I hate bets with this one, she always wins" the red haired woman gripes "hush it, you were the one betting on another's relationship" my blonde girlfriend grumbles out. "All in good fun" Bess replies, it's been two months since the disappearance of Eddie and the police are on the lookout for him. And still, no one knows if he's alive but something feels off to me about his case.

"Alright, let's go Vessie, before the barkeep here bets more on our relationship" Elania snides while dragging me outside with her. "Woah, woah hun. What's wrong?" I asked after we had gotten home as I held her face gently "she bets on us like we're some lottery ticket" Ela says as tears started to well up in her eyes and her face fell sullen. "Oh my love, I'm sorry, I didn't know it got to you like this?" I say as I wiped her tears with my thumb, pulling her into a hug. "I'll tell her to stop, okay? I love you Ela, more than anything" I say as I pressed a soft kiss to my lover's forehead.

"I love you too Ves, more than anything." She replied "I know you do" I say as I gave her a gentle kiss.

"Now, what do you want for dinner tonight? I'll make it." I say with a soft smile "What about breakfast for dinner?" She asked and I nodded in response. "Breakfast for dinner it is" I replied as I found my way into the kitchen. Once dinner was made I plated our food and set the table "Ela" I called as I felt her arms around my waist. "Finally done, my Bonny lass?" She asked as she placed a kiss on my shoulder, making me melt into her touch.

"I love when you call me that" I mumbled as I leaned into her touch "my.. Bonny.. lass." She whispers in my ear with a smirk making me shiver. "Love, not before dinner. I made pancakes, eggs and bacon, your favorite" I say "goddess Aphrodite I love you" she says with a smile. "I love you more," I said as I kissed her.

I love Ela with my entire being, she gave me butterflies and made my legs feel like jelly, this was the type of love you only read in romance novels and it was mine. This love was mine and mine alone, and I wasn't going to give it up for the world. I mean, Elania filled a hole in my heart I never knew I had and truly made me happy. "Love, the food is getting cold" I hear Ela say, knocking me out of my thoughts "Uh- right-" I say with a grin as my face heats up.

"What~ were you thinking about?" Ela chimes "just how much I love you" I replied as I sat down and began to eat with a grin. When we finished eating, we did the dishes before going to bed. The next morning we did our usual routine and checked the news, Eddie was still missing. This worried the hell out of me, I mean he was my childhood friend, I had every right to be worried.

"My beloved, I see that look in your eye, I'm sure he's okay" Ela says as wraps an arm around my shoulders. "I hope so," I mumbled with a sigh as I leaned into her touch "let's take your mind off Eddie's Case" she says with a smile. "How?" I asked with a tilt of my head "a beautiful, heartfelt date of course" Ela responds with a grin. "Now, I'll go set up, you stay here and rest." She said without leaving any room for me to object and placed a kiss on my forehead.

"Alright" I replied with a soft smile "promise?" She says "promise" I say as she leaves. However, a few hours passed and I grew more and more worried about her taking so long. So, I got out my phone and checked her location since we used it to check on each other when needed. But, when her location showed up in the opposite direction from where she had told me, paranoia kicked in. So, naturally I followed it, but when I arrived there I found Elania with Eddie tied to a tree and she was using him as a feeding ground.
