**Chapter 1: The Great Office Prank Planning Committee**
Max sat at the head of the conference table, bouncing a pen nervously. Today was the day he'd finally lead the legendary "Office Prank" project - an event that, if successful, would be legendary. Well, that was the plan. The reality? Hopefully not getting fired.
"Alright, team, listen up," Max announced, trying to sound commanding. "This is going to be legendary. We're going to prank Mr. Grumble - just a little harmless fun to boost morale."
Sally rolled her eyes, sipping her coffee. "Max, the last 'harmless' prank you planned ended with the fire alarm going off and half the office evacuating in pajamas."
Tom chuckled, fiddling with a small gadget that emitted a faint beep. "I've got some ideas, but they're a bit... experimental."
Jenny, clutching her notepad, looked eager. "I want to help! Maybe we could put googly eyes on all the office supplies?"
Sally snorted. "That's adorable, Jenny, but I think we need something a little more… sophisticated."
Max grinned. "No worries! I've got it all under control. We'll do a classic - switch Mr. Grumble's coffee with decaf. He'll never see it coming."
Sally leaned back, crossing her arms. "That's your big plan? Decaf? That's so last week."
Tom finally sighed, revealing a small device. "I built a gadget that makes it look like the ceiling is leaking - perfect for a surprise scare."
Jenny's eyes sparkled. "Ooh! Can I press the button?"
Before anyone could answer, the office door swung open, and Mr. Grumble shuffled in, frowning. "What's all this noise? Are we planning a parade or a riot?"
Max scrambled to his feet. "No, sir! Just… brainstorming for the company picnic."
Mr. Grumble's eyes narrowed. "I don't like surprises, Max. Just make sure it doesn't involve the sprinkler system again."
As the team exchanged nervous glances, a mischievous plan was already brewing in Max's mind. They might have been amateurs, but they were about to make this office the funniest disaster it had ever seen.
