Chapter 6: A Helping Hand

Seeing Kishan's condition, the guard showed him sympathy but said he didn't have a job that suited Kishan's qualifications. In sorrow, Kishan replied that he could do any job. The guard's heart melted, and he asked Kishan to meet him at the same place in the evening, promising to try his best to help him. Kishan thanked him and said he would wait there since he had nowhere else to go. The guard's eyes filled with tears, and he took Kishan to his small house, telling him he could live there and introducing himself as Daya. Kishan started crying upon receiving Daya's help.

In the evening, Daya took him to the radio station where he had worked as a security guard for seven years. Daya had a very good reputation there and went directly to a higher-up, requesting a job for the boy. The boss, after hearing about Kishan's situation, told Daya that the boy is well-educated but lacked the experience required for a job at the station, and he didn't want to put him in a position where his qualifications would be wasted. However, since Daya had requested something for the first time in many years, the boss felt compelled to help. Thus, he called Kishan and told him that the organization would take him on as an intern for one month. If he worked with dedication and gained some experience, he would be offered a permanent job, but he would not receive a salary for the first month. Crushed by life, Kishan accepted the offer immediately. As they were leaving the premises, Daya handed him the keys to his house and told him to live with him. Kishan was delighted by Daya's help and promised him that he would work hard to achieve success in the job.
