Chapter 16: Inside the Center

The next day, Kishan took leave from the office, making the excuse of a relative's death and needing to go home. He then met with Jiya, dressed in old, dirty clothes and smelling of alcohol, acting like a drunkard lying on the road. She then called her hospital to report an alcoholic person, and a car came to take him to the center.

At the center, Kishan acted fantastically as a lunatic druggie. The employees found it very difficult to control him, so they gave him a dose of anesthesia, which made him sleep. When he opened his eyes, he found that his outfit had been changed to the hospital's uniform, and his clothes were gone. He panicked, as he had also lost his pen, and he became nervous because Jiya, who could help him, wasn't nearby.

Somehow, the day ended, but the next day, he couldn't act normally as it would arouse suspicion in the authorities. Therefore, he acted accordingly. Various treatments were performed on his body, along with some techniques used by doctors to make him intoxicated. Different processes were carried out on the people present there, but none seemed unusual, and the days passed.

One day in the afternoon, Jiya came as a nurse for a regular checkup in Kishan's ward. Seeing her, he got angry and shouted at her, but she explained that the faculty at the place is very strict and she had somehow managed to come that day. She handed him his pen, but he asked her to get him out, as nothing in the place seemed suspicious, and everything appeared normal. She pleaded with him to wait for two weeks, as Kavita had advised.
