Chapter 14: A Dangerous Secret

The following evening, Kishan went to the same cafe where he had met Sandy. This time, a girl was waiting for him. Kishan praised her for her acting on the radio call. Therefore, it was clear that she was the same girl who had called yesterday, and the problem she described was fake, something Kishan had told her to portray during their personal call while the song was playing. He asked her to share the real issue.

She explained that she worked as a nurse in a very reputable hospital in the city on a contractual basis. The previous week, her colleague Kavita had a night shift there, and since then, she had been constantly tense. When asked, she initially didn't say anything, but the day before yesterday, she revealed a shocking fact about the hospital: some doctors are involved in organ smuggling. Kishan was astonished and asked where they performed these procedures. She explained that in addition to hospital services, the organization also ran a drug de-addiction center where they took addicted people from the streets and tried to cure them. However, Kavita had told her something strange: those patients who struggled more with addiction and had no family contact for two weeks were transferred to a separate room, and they usually came out dead.

One day during her shift in the early morning, Kavita accidentally looked into the room, as no one except some doctors were allowed in there. She saw that those patients were being operated on, and their internal organs were being transferred elsewhere. Since then, she had been terrified.
