(So far, you have read how Swapnil used Meera to break his marriage. Later, due to her sprained ankle, he took her to the hospital. Now, continuing...)
After taking her to the hospital, Swapnil gets all of Meera's reports. Once he is assured that Meera is completely fine, he takes her out for a meal and drops her home.
The next day, the reports are expected to arrive at the office. When the delivery boy brings the reports, Samir picks them up around 11:30 in Swapnil's absence. He is stunned to see the report in his hands: "Mrs. Meera Patil," which was supposed to be handed to Swapnil.
Samir has been waiting in Swapnil's cabin for some time. As soon as Swapnil finishes his meeting and enters the cabin, Samir stands up. "You didn't even tell me. I'm your close friend. If you had to do this, at least you could have taken me into confidence. This is really bad. You should have explained it to me, and if you couldn't, at least you should have told me."
"Hold on... How many things are you saying? I just came from a meeting. My head is already aching, and here you are, trying to make me understand something. What's going on that you're in such a hurry?" Swapnil asks Samir.
"What's going on... What's going on... How can you ask me that? Something very big has happened, and it's so big that it will go far. You got married and didn't even tell me? You married Meera and didn't tell me? Even if you married her, at least her father should know that you both got married. Otherwise, I can't even imagine what he will do with you. Both you and I now, her father." Samir says, touching his head.
Swapnil glares at him. "Did you smoke weed this morning? Until yesterday, you weren't crazy. Did you hit your head somewhere? Why would I marry Meera?"
Samir places the report in front of him. "So, what's with this report? Mrs. Meera Patil. Tell me, this is also the hospital's mistake. They mistakenly assumed you both just got married and went there."
Swapnil opens the entire report and reads the name. It was indeed written as Mrs. Meera Patil. He replays the incident in his mind and then looks at Samir angrily. "Right, it's not the hospital's mistake. It's all your fault?"
"My fault! My fault! Aren't you ashamed? You're falsely accusing me," Samir says dramatically.
"You called me exactly when I was filling out the form with Meera's name at the hospital. Since your call came in an emergency, I let the nurse fill out the form and asked her to write Meera's name. Since she had my card, she filled in the name she understood. I filled in Meera's name, and she added my surname after that. Now, isn't this all your fault? If you hadn't called, I would have been filling out that form there, and today, Meera's name would have been the same as it is." Swapnil says, touching his head. He really has a severe headache. He sits on his chair.
He can't understand whether his life has become spicy after Meera's arrival or if it was always like this. Certainly, there was never this much drama before. His past was different, the present was quite boring, but since Meera stepped into the office, there's a new drama every day.
"Okey. Fine. Forget about it. Let's go somewhere nice for lunch. This is on me for your help last night." Samir says.
Samir takes him to a good restaurant for lunch, where they meet their close friend Rajesh. "So, how's everything going?" Samir asks.
"Everything's fine. I want to tell you both something. I eloped and got married," Rajesh says.
"Eloped and got married? What does that mean? When and how did this happen?" Samir asks excitedly. Swapnil glares at him. Samer has this bad habit of interfering in others' matters.
"Let me shorten the long story. Her parents weren't agreeing. We both loved each other. It was a long-term relationship. Finally, we went to a temple and got married. Now, we need to take the registration form to court and submit it. Once the certificate is made, we'll be legally husband and wife. After that, her parents can't do anything," Rajesh says proudly. "Why don't you do one thing? I need a witness. Samir, quickly sign as a witness on my form."
Rajesh gives the form to Samir, but "This is completely blank. Only the witness's signature is visible."
"Yes, I'll fill out that form now. I was just looking for a witness, and the priest's signature is also attached," Rajesh says.
"Then why don't we do this in Our office? it's nearby; let's go there and fill out the form," Samir suggests, and Swapnil gives him a side-eye.
"Yes, good plan. Anyway, it's quite sunny outside. Let's go sit in the AC." Rajesh agrees, and the three of them leave. As soon as they reach the office and enter Samir's cabin, Ajay arrives and informs Samir that his meeting is about to start. Samir is now so nervous that he can't even swallow water and looks at Swapnil with hopeful eyes.
Swapnil understands the meaning of his gaze. He sighs, "Rajesh, let's go and sit in my cabin to fill out your form there."
Rajesh and Swapnil reach Swapnil's cabin. Rajesh is about to start filling out the form with a pen when Meera enters and drops several papers from her hand. Rajesh stands up and starts helping Meera to collect the papers. Swapnil glares at Meera.
Soon, Rajesh receives a phone call and starts leaving in a hurry. "Swapnil, I have an emergency. I have to go home now. Bye, tell Samir I said thank you to him." he says, picking up the papers from the table and leaving. Swapnil nods.
"You can't even handle some papers," he says to Meera.
"There are so many papers. In the process of checking them, they fell from my hand," Meera replies.
"All these papers need to be sent out today. Now go and arrange them sequentially," Swapnil orders.
"All the papers need your signatures. You sign them then I'll get someone else to do it." Meera says.
"You have to sign it too." Swapnil says.
"I'll do it later; you sign first." Meera is ready with her response.
Without arguing, Swapnil takes all the papers. "There are some papers on the table too; get them here. They also need to be sent to different places. Give the courier boy the correct order and address to send it today itself." Meera nods.
Due to feeling unwell, Swapnil signs all the papers without reading them. After that, he gives the papers to Meera and leaves. "Sign them and give them to the courier counter. I have informed him to feel some form. He will do that and send them; you don't need to stay too long," he tells Meera.
As per Swapnil's instructions, Meera signs all the papers without reading them and gives them to the courier. She is confident that Swapnil must have read the papers.
