Why did you walk away from them?

A man in a white collar shirt walked into the bar and sat alone briefly. He was approached by the little girl who had just come out of the toilet. They have a brief chat on their day before a stunning question that strikes the man's heart, and later unfolds a whole reason why he is still awake.

Chapter 2

What are you folding, where did you learnt how to do that?

The girl ask the mechanic guy eagerly as he slowly unfold a magnificent animal from a piece of paper.

"This is the simplest form of origami called crane. It is a bird that people create from a piece of paper as art and a depiction of good fortune. Actually, I taught myself how to fold the paper and it is the reason why I want to have a job with craftsmanship at it's core"

"That brilliant, who would have thought a single piece of paper would turn into a resemblance of modest creature"

The girl eye sparkling as she carefully observed his process. His movements is graceful and subtle as he fold each creases.

"I guess you right, we often assumed that there no use about it until our heart say something else. It may look difficult at first glance but at least I still have a chance to do something you actually enjoy like this art, am i right?"

He finish folding the paper, it is an elegant paper crane with a few wrinkles. The girl's eye becomes widen as she accepts it.

"Thank you so much for stopping by today, I will visit your workshop someday"

She gives him a hug and put a dime in his pocket.

"My pleasure, at least tonight isn't as bad as I had before"

He stands up and leaves through the back door.

"Don't place it near the glass kid"

Bartender warn the girl as she about to put the paper crane on table.

"I am really surprised how the world turn on him like that. He could have been better off sooner"

"I know, but he just unfortunate to realize it lately. At least he is happy for now"

The girl nod as she plays with fragile crane in her hand.

"This meal makes me full, what would the next order be like?"
