SCENE I - CHANGES
INT - SOFA - LIVING ROOM - EVENING
SOPHIA
The world is changing constantly, and you cannot do anything about it.
MARK
You know that the world is changing, and no one of us can do anything about it.
The world is just the world.
SOPHIA
Utterly, we can all express our feelings towards the changing world.
MARK
It won't change, because it turns and life goes on.
The world goes and goes, around and around…
SOPHIA
And around we go…
And we are here today, as we lived one more day at the time, one more morning, one more afternoon, one more evening.
MARK
And this evening will turn to dawn, and then to morning. And life continues on and on.
(SIGHS)
SOPHIA
Why are we daring to say this?
MARK
Because we are humans, and we have endless hope, and we perspactinate, and we understand that we cannot understand more than the world is changing, and we cannot understand that.
SOPHIA
And the dawn becomes another day, the moon comes up and down, and our world continues to change.
MARK
And we always bring, and the key word here is always, we always bring drama. Endless drama.
SOPHIA
Why do you say such, my love?
Well…
I do understand...
(Leaning towards Mark)
I understand that one day we will be food for worms, and what we are, just that.
MARK
(Soft tone)
I decided to turn off my sorrowful eyes and to see the positive things in the world, so that I could live better, and dream what I could say and fight for the dreams that I want to accomplish my goals.
SOPHIA
Hey…
No more sorrows, no more sadness, no more longing and lingering through the darkness of all the deep alleys of darkness and deep of traumas.
MARK
I cannot pretend anymore. And all that I lived through my life so far, was all but traumas…
Through the crazy stuff that I lived through, I cannot really say that I'm indifferent to this.
We suffer.
I did!
SOPHIA
I did too, love. And I understand your point.
But anyway, I have to move on and dream harder and turn trauma and drama inside of my mind into a positive vibe, one that everyone understands and everyone can learn from.
MARK
This all to say that the world moves on and turns and spins in the right direction all along. Right?
SOPHIA
Yes dear! You see?No trauma. Anything. The world just spins.
MARK
And we are just the greatest of stories, and that's all.
SCENE II - FORGIVENESS
INT. KITCHEN - DINNER TIME - EVENING
(They are in the kitchen, cooking.)
MARK
I have been thinking. And now I understand your point.
Forgive yourself before forgiving others.
Thank you.
A calm mind makes all the difference if you consider each word carefully when you forgive.
SOPHIA
Exactly!
You might say inside, to your own buttons, forgive but not forget.
MARK
Get rid of the thought, if you dare your heart to change the mind.
SOPHIA
That soul of yours will be more pure, because if you believe in the power of love.
And you will do it because you love someone, that by choice misunderstood some sign of yours.
MARK
Be aware, forgiveness is the path for happiness, if not, the pillar of it.
SOPHIA
Be aware that you are the light of someone, the sun, and a star which warms up the soul.
Be aware of all the signs in this world, that could not be perfect, but if you believe, creating a better world it is really possible. Be aware, if you forget and forgive the errors of the other, you are forgiving yourself for getting so wrong with the person you love the most.
MARK
Just believe in your heart your soul can have more light for being the one to guide others throughout the darkness.
