Light in the Shadows
From that night, my perspective changed. The pain didn't vanish, but my strength grew. I stopped chasing my family's approval and sought God's presence instead. School was still tough, but I pressed forward, focusing on my race, not others'. At home, the atmosphere stayed heavy, but I learned forgiveness, even when it felt impossible.
The devil had tried to silence me with delay, betrayal, and rejection. But God had already written a different ending. My struggles became my testimony. I was no longer just the broken first child, I was proof that no matter how heavy the shadows, light always prevails.
This was not my end. It was the beginning of a greater story.
