Mother's Passing
"God… why did You take my mother from me? I just don't understand. I needed her. She was my best friend."
In that moment of grief, Willie Banks' song *God's Goodness* played, reminding me of my mother's love and presence. God assured me that her work was finished here, but her prayers for me still continue from Heaven.
Scripture: *Psalm 34:18* - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Marriage Trials
I prayed for years for my marriage to be restored, but the love was gone. God reminded me that some prayers are answered in ways we do not expect - and freeing my heart was part of His healing.
Scripture: *Jeremiah 29:11* - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Impossible Situations
From unexpected financial blessings to medical miracles and help arriving at the perfect moment, I saw God's hand in the impossible. Each trial became an opportunity for His glory to be revealed.
Scripture: *Isaiah 41:10* - "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Protection from Danger
One night, I made the mistake of drinking and driving. God took control of the situation, sparing me from tragedy and preserving my life for the work still ahead.
Scripture: *Psalm 91:11* - "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."
Prayers for My Children
My nightly prayers for my children were heard. God assured me that seeds of faith were taking root in their hearts, even when I couldn't see the growth yet.
Scripture: *Proverbs 22:6* - "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it."
Closing Encouragement
This testimony stands as a reminder that God's presence is constant. He rides with us in the darkest nights, answers in the quietest moments, and works all things together for good.
Scripture: *Romans 8:28* - "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
