'Jinyoung!' Jackson shouted as he stormed into a vocal room.
Jinyoung and Youngjae (vocal teacher) are shocked by Jackson's outburst.
Jackson apologised, 'I got an awesome demo, I want to collaborate with you and Jaebeom hyung!'
Seeing Jackson so excited, jumping up and down, Jinyoung couldn't help but smile. 'Have you spoken to Jaebeom hyung?' Jinyoung ask.
'Oops. I thought of you first.' Jackson, a face of apologetic.
'Jackson hyung!' Donghyuk finally caught up with him, breathless.
'Sorry sorry, I'm too excited.' Jackson apologised for the third time in a row.
'Can I know who the producer is?' Youngjae spoke for the first time.
'I never heard name before is B.I. Mark hyung gave it to me, asking me to give it a listen.' Jackson explains.
Youngjae widened his eyes as he heard the name.
'You know who?' Jackson and Jinyoung ask.
'Of course, who doesn't know him?' Donghyuk interpret.
After they called Jaebeom over, luckily, he was in the studio doing some work. They listen together. All of them like it.
'A good mix of R&B and Hiphop. Will be good for our image.' Jaebeom comments, looking at Jinyoung.
'Right! I like it from the demo.' Jackson is getting excited again.
'Hmm, it is hard for me.' Jinyoung say softly.
'We can train for it.' Youngjae pats Jinyoung on the shoulder.
'Shall we give Mark hyung a call then? To meet up with the producer.' Donghyuk ask.
A few days later, Mark's phone rings.
On the other side of the phone, 'I am here. I don't have access yet.'
'I'm coming down.' Mark immediately stood up and headed towards the lift.
Jackson and JJ Project are waiting patiently at Jackson's studio. At the lobby,
'Sorry for the wait.' Mark ran towards B.I He smiled, 'No rush, though I am sure they are waiting anxiously.'
They took the lift up to recording studio level, in the lift.
'Does Mia know about this?' B.I ask.
'No, but she knows Jackson is collaborating with JJ Project.' Mark replied with a smile. 'She will be very happy to know, though, I don't understand why it is a secret.' Mark continues.
B.I smile, not offering any words.
They reach the studio in no time. Mark knocked on the door, and they entered together.
'This is B.I, Kim Hanbin, the producer.' Mark introduces.
Hanbin (B.I) bow, 'Nice to meet you. You can just call me Hanbin instead of B.I, as that is my writer name.'
'I will leave you guys to it.' With that, Mark left the studio.
4 of them talk about the song and music in general. All 3 of them are very impressed by Hanbin. When Mark returned to his seat, he saw Mia waiting for him.
'Where were you?' Mia is slightly upset.
'I bring the producer up for Jackson and JJ Project collaboration.' Mark explained, slightly nervous.
'Oh, it is today? Never mind that, can you call Huta up?' Mia waved it away.
After Huta enters Mia's room, they are together for at least 2 hours without a sound. Mark is curious as he didn't know of any work related to Huta. Mark looked at BM, and he shook his head. As time approached 5pm, Mark knocked on her door to submit some documents. He didn't wait for Mia's reply before entering, catching them sitting side by side, heads down on something at the sofa area.
'Mia noona.' Mark starts.
Both of them jumped, obviously startled, not knowing that Mark had entered.
'Mark! I didn't hear you.' Mia stood up.
'I knocked too.' Mark resisted rolling his eyes.
'Sorry, anything up?' Mia asks.
'Just a few documents for you to go through. BM wants to know around what time you will finish up. I am not staying late today.' Mark says in one shot.
'Oh. Erm..' Mia, take a look at Huta, who is still sitting on the sofa and return to Mark, 'I will be late. BM can go off same time as you, Huta will drive me home.' Mia waved Mark off.
Without another word, Mark went off. At around 7pm, Mark went off together with BM. Mia and Huta stayed for another 2 hours; they went off together at 9pm. Mia was waiting for Huta at the lobby when Jackson, JJ Project and Hanbin exited the lift.
'Oh, is Mia noona.' Jackson exclaim.
Hanbin's head turned immediately, only to see Mia get into Huta's car.
'I think Huta hyung is her boyfriend.' Jaebeom laugh.
Hanbin and Jinyoung look at Jaebeom, raising an eyebrow.
'We all saw how they were the other day.' Jaebeom is defending himself.
'Never mind, so where are we going for dinner?' Jackson changed the topic.
"Are you guys ok with Korean food?' Hanbin ask with a smile.
'Yes!' 3 voices ring.
Hanbin drove them to one of his favourite Korean restaurants in town. All of them enjoyed, and he even drove all of them home.
On the other hand, Huta drove Mia home as she packed some boxes to move over to Huta's place. As she unpacked, her phone kept chiming for new messages. She looks over only to see that they are messages from Hanbin, and she sighs. As she looks up, Huta is at the door of her room.
'Just messages from a work partner.' Mia explain.
Huta didn't say anything, but he doesn't feel good. He knows how popular Mia is with others.
'Beer?' Huta offers instead.
'Sure.' Mia reaches out as Huta enters.
'It is late, you are staying over, right?' Huta asked.
Mia nods as she drinks her beer. Just as she put down her beer, Huta took the chance and kissed her hard on the lips and carried her up to the bedroom. That night, they made love. In the morning, after Mia washes up, she realises Huta had woken up.
'You are early.' Mia says as she reaches for a kiss.
'Went for a run.' Huta replies.
As Huta washes up, Mia makes a simple breakfast at the table.
'I have 4 full classes today, I won't be free for dinner.' Huta say only to see Mia not paying attention, she is typing on her phone.
'Mia?' Huta reached out for her.
'Hmm?' Mia looked up, seeing Huta's hurtful face, like a slap in her face.
She immediately put down her phone, 'Sorry, are you saying?'
'You have dinner plans today?' Huta decided he would not be petty.
'Oh yes, Hanbin is working with Jackson and JJ Project for their collaboration, so he is in the company today. Been a while, I shall catch up with him.' Mia smiled and reached for Huta's hand.
'Ok.' Was Huta's short reply. A feeling of uncertainty slowly rose in him.
Huta and Mia went to the company today. Silence during the ride, comfortable to Mia, not so to Huta. Huta knows Hanbin likes Mia, whether she knows it or not. They got close during Huta's enlistment, though he trusted Mia, but he also knew that Mia had never told Hanbin that she was attached.
Around 7pm, Mia finish up her work and head down to level 6, there is no message from Hanbin hence she decided to wait at the pantry area. She was reading a book when JJ Project exit the studio 2 hours later.
'Mia noona?' Jinyoung unsure.
Mia looked up upon hearing his voice. 'Oh hi. It has been a long time. How is everything?' Mia stood up to greet them.
'Good. We are collaborating with Jackson, just finished our recording.' Jaebeom explain.
'Yes, I heard.' Mia smile.
'You are waiting for someone?' Jinyoung ask, hopefully.
'Ah yes..' Mia started.
'I'm done, Mia. We can go.' Hanbin interrupt.
Mia and Hanbin bowed towards JJ Project and went off side by side. They were chatting happily as they were leaving, leaving JJ Project in more confusion.
'So Mia is with Hanbin or Huta? Jaebeom is thinking out loud.
Jinyoung just shrugged, wondering the same thing himself.
During dinner,
'Are they easy to work with?' Mia started the conversation.
Hanbin nods, 'All 3 of them know what they want and know their style clearly.'
'The song might be a bit difficult for Jinyoung, so today we only did Jaebeom. Tomorrow we will be doing Jackson's recording. The boys were saying that they can add a dance choreography. So they are planning to ask their dance teacher for help.' Hanbin continue.
'Oh. Their dance teacher is Huta, I can help to ask.' Mia replied with a smile.
'Huta?' Hanbin raised an eyebrow.
Mia didn't see it and nods happily, 'He is their dance teacher. He will be willing to help the boys. Since he should also know their style.'
Somehow that discomfort Hanbin though he didn't show it. They continue with other topics, on the way back. Mia received a text message from Huta.
'Who is it?' Hanbin ask.
'Huta, he is telling me that Annabelle the movie is out!' Mia is excited.
'A horror movie?' Hanbin knows Mia's interest.
Mia didn't see it and nods, 'Huta and I love horror movies.'
To Mia, is nothing out of the usual, as Huta and her are in a relationship, naturally they will watch movies together. Hanbin, on the other hand feels that Huta is his love rival.
