The rain had stopped by the time they reached the bus stop. Drop still clung to Maya's hair, and she noticed Ethan's hoodie was slightly damped on the shoulder- the side he had tilted towards her to keep her dry.
"Thanks for the rescue", she said, hesitating before stepping away.
"Anytime" Ethan replied. Then, as if deciding something, he added. "How about coffee sometimes? Preferably indoors."
