I woke up and felt a dull ache in my knees. The type of pain you feel when someone has smashed your knees with a hammer. I sat up in bed, and saw this shadow-like figure looking at me. I realized that this person was the thing I killed yesterday.
"Hello Jay." It said with a deep voice. The figure walked closer, it appeared more human. It looks familiar? No it can't be?
The figure is me.
"You know, that knife looks really really shiny. Almost like it's calling out to us. You feel pain because you also hurt me.." The figure kept getting closer before vanishing, taking my consciousness along with it.

It hurts! It hurts a lot.. I can't, I can't do this anymore! Maybe the knife could set me free.
I got the knife from the kitchen. I stared at it for a while. I am contemplating my decision on whether or not I should die or continue the experiment. The screams of agony keep on bouncing off the horridly bright white walls. I can't stop hallucinating that the items in my room are people and that creature keeps haunting me, stalking me, smiling at me in my dreams and in reality. Who would create this experiment????? Why would they do it? The doctor is truly a monster like the man with no face. Maybe she is the man with no face? Humans truly cannot survive in isolation, I cannot survive anymore. I'm done!!!!!!
I looked at the knife once more and I stared at how sharp it was, how appealing it would be just to stick it into my flesh to stop the endless horror of this experiment. I don't care if I die in reality. I just want to stop it, I just want to be normal again?.

" Doctor?"
" Yes?"
" Jay Kato?. He died."
" He did? I had more faith in him. He seemed so motivated to complete this experiment, yet even he died."
" There are only two people left, Haley! We should stop experimenting! People have died because of us !"
" I thought you wanted to support my experiments, Rose? What happened?"
" But people have died.."
" Like thousands of people who haven't already died because of global warming, the collapse of governments and so on! If I don't experiment, we won't be able to save humanity, Rose! Don't you understand!"
" What are we going to do now?"
" Well, we should stop the current experiment and create another. This time we isolate pairs of human beings together. Maybe we'll multiply people as we go. For now, the remaining pair shall be transferred to another room. Maybe then they would not kill themselves or each other."
" How are you so unaffected? Do you even care about the people you are experimenting on?!"
"Of course I do! I'm no monster. I promise once we find a solution, the experiments will stop. We could live as we used to Rose."
"You better not break your promise Doctor?"
" Of course, I won't."
